Princess Jellyfish: Go, Sisterhood Explorers!

For a short parody series of something that is a comedy show, this is wholly unfunny. I'm a big fan of Kuragehime, and this is probably the most disappointing thing I could have watched. The story isn't very good, and when they try to make jokes, they fall flat. Very flat. I don't even really understand how anyone could find them funny. For a show with great animation, sound, and character development, it seemed like these all should have been of a decently high quality. Unfortunately, even the sound (which in my opinion is pretty hard to mess up) wasn't nearly as good as the originalshow. I found myself not enjoying this at all. If, by some odd choice, you feel like watching it, go ahead. It's a decent enough way to waste three minutes of your time, but there are much better things one could be watching instead. It's honestly a bit of a pity. Overall, if you're a fan of Kuragehime and are considering watching this, go watch the original. It's much more satisfying than having to sit through even the three minutes of this.

this was a fun special!! it was a creative metaphor for the amars having to navigate the treacherous terrain that is modern society while getting lost in their otaku tendencies, which proves to create obstacles in their journey. i wish that the original anime series, as well as this special, included nomu's characater because she's part of the sisterhood as well in the manga. it would have been funny to see her in the jungle along with the amars on their adventure haha XD!! this was a very simple and comprehensive caricature skit of the amars that was easy to follow in an entertaining way. i wasalso a fan of the water colour theme of the artstyle and animation. it creates a certain dreamlike quality to the animation that places the whole special in an alternate universe where the characters can be explored through wildlife survival antics.
