This is a short, less than ten minute special that really fits with the rest of the 08th MS Team. It retains and showcases the characters . . . character, and really focuses on a short and sweet classic Gundam vs Zaku battle, and the development of the relationship between Sanders and Michel. The animation for this is, in my opinion, absolutely beautiful. I really wished it was longer, but that's not a negative and I'm not complaining. This is really just a small treat for anyone that's a fan of the original OVA series. This is definitely worth watching.

(LAZAROTH REVIEW - NO SPOILERS - RAPID REVIEW) This OVA special is an supplemental piece to the "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 8th MS team" OVA anime, and features a single battle that takes place on a bridge as the team is ambushed from all directions. It's only around 7 minutes long, however it features modern animation in widescreen, as opposed to the 90's 4:3 aspect ratio, and it was quite something to see the characters in the modern style, even if I preferred the older look. I'm astounded to see that there is no CGI used in this short, considering that most mecha anime from the2010's had CGI. The battle is really good and feels like a snippet cut from the original anime, it's quite novel seeing the team battle both a Sniper and an flying mobile suit at the same time during an ambush. The setting is quite good, and I liked the ending too. Overall, it's perfect for an bonus feature if you liked the original anime! 7.8/10
