Synopsis
Based of the game by Candy Soft. Summary of the game: The Hanabishi family and Hidaka family are next door neighbors. The fathers of both households could be called best friends, so they all get along like one big happy family. In particular, Hidaka family’s only son Kouki was raised lovingly by the four Hanabishi sisters like he was their own brother. One day, the Hanabishi and Hidaka parents were preparing for a long term overseas business trip together. Kantaro Hanabishi had only one problem holding him back from the trip; leaving his four daughters behind in Japan. “Leave it to me. You can rely on me to watch over them!” As a result of Kouki’s casual announcement, both parents happily departed on their trip. “Ooh, how reliable! That was what I was waiting to hear!” Between both of the parents, they had arranged for one of the four sisters to become Kouki's fiance. After Kouki's graduation they would continue discussion of it further, but this recent event gave a chance to accelerate their plan. Thus, all summer vacation Kouki will spend time alone under one roof with all four of the Hanabishi sisters. The eldest daughter Yurina: Despite being good at her job, While at home she lazes around and makes Kouki work hard. The second born daughter, Momone: Absolutely adores Kouki, and does nothing but spoil him. The third daughter, Saori: She does all the housework, and although she is like a maid she prefers it to going outside. The youngest daughter, Anzu: Has no reservation in calling Kouki her personal play toy. Each of them have their own motives doing anything they can; at times even tempting him into sexual situations, so they can draw closer to making the Kouki they love their husband. trashonthecurb★ 9This is the very believable and realistic story of a young man having to choose a bride out of a group of four sisters — who all love him. They thankfully, or sadly depending on your fetish, aren’t his sisters. A situation that many can relate to, I’m sure. It’s a sweet deal, to say the least. And Ane Yome Quartet is a sweet show in general. In a genre and medium filled with NTR and rape, a sweet vanilla show like this is a ray of sunshine. A sweet slice of unrealistic life… with fucking. And it isn’t just a ray of sunshine in terms ofthemes and story–visually it’s a darling too. A charming art style, which is mature when it needs to be and cute when it needs to be, and animation which is slightly better than expected. Even if it is awkward in some places, the way the scenes and movement of character is animated feels… natural. Although it does take a slight downfall in the second episode, sadly. The pacing is a little slow, but the sex scenes never feel drawn out or static. It definitely falls into the same ‘characters narrate what they are doing as they fuck’ hole that so many other hentai fall down, but it has enough interesting animation and cinematography for it to feel fresh. If you’re looking to get away from the more hardcore dark themed hentai, and enjoy something cute and sweet, this is highly recommended. But I'll tell you that this one HAS a story, and it's realistic, and as I've read the other reviews--in a genre filled with rape/toys/'bizarre' fetishes this one is on the right track...with the right ingredients that are just enough not to feel the slightest disgust or guilt. You want a romantic 'story'? If you are a very hopeless romantic person, congratulations.This one got ya covered! It's about a main protagonist that is supposed to pick a fiance on the four sisters (they're not really, but childhood friends). But all of them are seemingly obsessed with him and every part of him,and so they flirt with him, see how it goes--and we all know what ends after that. What I applaud this anime for is its capacity to hold on tightly to its plot line or its slice-of-life theme when things have reached its turning point (*winks*). What's more important (in porn) than sex, right? Well as a woman I think it's important for me not to focus on the heart of the story but the brains in it--what it tells us, and what we'll learn thereafter. After glancing through some reviews, I do believe that Ane Yome Quartet is one of the rarest and best hentai out there.
