This is one of those cases where it feels like a such a close tease at what could've been a good adaptation and just falls short of being an absolute banger by not being real. If you want to watch this and don't know or care for guilty gear don't bother with this special there's little to nothing to gain, and for a fan who hasn't seen it yet you need to keep in mind it's just a 5 minute long promo movie at the start of one of the games you're getting what you imagined. although that being said the voice acting is funny and it'sreally sweet to see some of my favorite characters fully animated, as hard as it is to admit it's actually pretty good the animation and style is really nicely done with little to no flaws. Long story short if you have 5 minutes to blow and like guilty gear go for it you have nothing to lose except a hope for a real anime someday.

One of those cases where, 25 years later, I still wish we got this into a full adaptation. This is mostly because not only is Guilty Gear one of my favorite franchises of all time, Guilty Gear X alone is my personal favorite Guilty Gear game of all time, and to think we never got this into a full adaptation just hurts to think about, and to be honest would help with marketing for Guilty Gear X at the time, like imagine waking up one morning to turn on the TV to watch an anime adaptation for Guilty Gear X, then playing the game itself afterwards?I wish it were real so bad, seeing my favorite characters like Testament and Ky-Kiske in an anime during that time period of Guilty Gear. Watching the fights, the plot points, and hearing the incredible soundtrack during an epic fight, I wouldn't be more happier. Like imagine a full fledged animated Ky Vs Sol scene with No Mercy playing in the background, fully voice acted, or or Ky Vs Testament (as possibly hinted in the trailer) with Bloodstained Lineage in the background, I could scream.
