This was an exceptional anime, great characters and great addition to the lore. The length of the anime is quite short, with each episode being a minute and a half long. That being said, it compensates for it with an amazing cast of characters and a delightfully simple plot. The artstyle is simple, yet it isn't hard to look at in the slightest. My only complaint is with the web special, where the guest characters look a bit jarring with their slightly uncanny designs. The characters were well rounded for the length of the anime. Ichihime was the best for the sole reason of carryingthe episode at some points. I highly recommend this anime, as it is seriously underrated in the anime world.

Another short that seemingly finished outta nowhere, much like Yatogame-chan this season. Jantama Pong manages to be even worse than Yatogame with all it's inane ,repetitive nonsense that it throws at the viewer. If you've seen Teekyuu, then this will make comparisons a lot easier to understand. Teekyuu is to tennis as to what Jantama Pong is to Mahjong. A lot of whacky situations happen in both short anime and while their respective activities may play out every now and then, they're usually relegated to the background. Jantama Pong is basically Teekyuu lite though, so if Teekyuu is dialed to 11, Jantama Pong would bearound a 6. You can coherently follow what they're saying and doing at all times, which would be quite the feat whilst watching Teekyuu. It's not as funny, nor is it as wild, it just comes across as a cheap replica solely meant to advertise it's dumb game, which I have no interest in trying out. The characters are forgettable except that cat girl who obviously has to end every sentence with "nyah", because that's what cat girls do. It's mainly her doing random crap for the entire episode. There's also some dog character, another chibi female character, etc. There's just something about advertisement anime in general that I truly hate, garbage like Super Cub or Dagashi Kashi, etc, there's needs to be something more if you're keep my attention, and just forcing their product onto me. Jantama Pong isn't as guilty as most of these anime, it just doesn't tick enough boxes personally. 3/10 for "watch Teekyuu instead".
