Synopsis
Despite being around a decade older than her, Library Task Force (LTF) member Mikihisa Komaki has been friends with Marie Nakazawa, a girl from his neighborhood, ever since she was little. Their relationship perseveres through thick and thin, and when Marie suddenly develops a hearing impairment during her middle school days, Komaki is there to support her—often by selecting books for her enjoyment. But one fateful morning, Komaki finds himself arrested by the Media Betterment Committee, which charges him with invading the privacy of a minor due to the supposedly insensitive content of one of his recommended novels. Knowing that what awaits their friend at the "inquiry" is more akin to torture, the members of the LTF look for ways to save Komaki before it is too late. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

AnchientProphet2★ 6So just to give a little heads up for you Library Wars fans out there, this will be but a short n sweet review to get the (review) ball rolling. Story: Basically without giving too much away: it revolves around how gossip and misunderstanding of others can sway people to outrageous assumptions that lead to disastrous results. Simply believing someone is wretched or helpless or taken advantage of without knowledge or true insight into such situations always seems to get "The mob" riled up, torches lit and pitchforks sharpened and ready to poke( OWIE). However...anyone whos anyone will know that since most people are dumb andeasily go with the flow, this seems to be a more and more likely unavoidable outcome in our world. Bless their hearts n souls. HAH I gave nothing away...technically. Art: Basic LW art= good Sound: good Character: Good and chivalrous lol Enjoyment: Well it was a bit more slow paced and romance driven in some aspects...most... 5/10 fair Overall: 6 in terms of overall quality and anime power, but a (spiritual) 10 just for the aesops fablish morale. ( what part of that was brief?? =_= *facepalm* )
JAMPS★ 8This is not one of those specials you want to skip. The slightly slower pace sets the tone for telling a story through the years of the characters hearts and the cencorship driven world that will put them to the test. The direction and dialogue brings everything together beatifully to make it a very enjoyable episode. After watching Toshokan Sensou back to back this special is a great change of air. Atsushi and Kasahara take the back seat and the focus is set on Komaki's past and present with his friend. By today's standards the main series and this episode look great. More specials should have this level ofcare and quality. Overall: 8.
