I haven't watched any Hello Kitty(Unless you count the Gundam collab, yes, that is a thing). This ONA only has 19 episode and each one is pretty short. The whole thing is less then 30 minutes. In thoese 30 minutes it delivers a better coherent story then some anime with more then double the time. This is all about Kuriomi so if you hate her you'll hate this but if you like her you'll like this. She changes a bit, but still remains herself down to the core. A nice sweet story that has quite a few references to other Hello Kitty stuff that doesn't take away from the experience. Ithas a prequal but this can be watched by it self. You can even watch this first and then the prequal.
